1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website saves in your browser to remember information between visits. In addition to cookies, similar technologies such as local storage (localStorage) or session identifiers may be used. For the purposes of this policy, we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
2. Cookie categories by purpose
- Essential: strictly necessary for the site to function. Without them, features such as signing in or selecting your language would not be available. No consent required.
- Functional: remember your preferences (language, region) to personalise your experience. Generally no consent required if used solely for that purpose.
- Analytical: collect anonymous data about how the site is used (pages visited, time browsing). Consent required in the EU.
- Advertising: used to show you relevant advertising. NutQuest does not use advertising cookies on the website; advertising is managed within the mobile app using its own consent system (CMP/UMP).

4. Third-party cookies
Cloudflare
As our CDN, DNS and attack-protection provider, Cloudflare may set technical cookies in your browser to ensure the security and performance of the site. These cookies are essential for the operation of the content delivery network. For more information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Stripe
When you make a purchase of the Premium Plan through the website, Stripe sets technical cookies to detect fraud and ensure payment security (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). These cookies are only active during the payment process. For more information: Stripe Privacy Policy.
5. Legal basis
- Essential and functional cookies: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) or performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). No prior consent is required for technically necessary cookies.
- Analytical or advertising cookies: NutQuest does not currently use cookies of this type on the website. If any were added in the future, your prior consent would be requested via a banner.
