1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage) or session identifiers, may also be used. For this policy, we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
2. Types of cookies by function
- Essential: necessary for the website to work. Without them, features such as sign-in or language selection would not be available. They do not require consent.
- Functional: remember your preferences (language, region) to personalise your experience. They generally do not require consent if used only for that purpose.
- Analytics: collect anonymous data about website use (pages visited, browsing time). They require consent in the EU.
- Advertising: used to show relevant advertising. Mitosk does not use advertising cookies on the web; advertising is managed within the mobile app through its own consent system (CMP/UMP).

4. Third-party cookies
Cloudflare
As a CDN, DNS and attack-protection provider, Cloudflare may set technical cookies in your browser to ensure website security and performance. These cookies are essential to the operation of the content delivery network. For more information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Stripe
When you purchase the Premium Plan through the web, Stripe sets technical cookies to detect fraud and secure the payment (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). These cookies are active only during the payment process. For more information: Stripe Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics
Mitosk uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web measurement service from Google LLC. It is activated only if you accept the cookie banner. With your consent, GA4 installs the _ga and _ga_G-4S2X417HV8 cookies to measure traffic anonymously. We implement GA4 with Consent Mode v2: without your consent, no cookies are installed and no personal data is sent to Google. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
5. Legal basis
- Essential and functional cookies: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) or performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b). They do not require prior consent under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE, which exempts necessary technical cookies.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): the legal basis is consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Analytics cookies are activated only if you accept the cookie banner shown when you enter the website. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
